I wonder as I wander

“I wonder as I wander out under the sky
How Jesus the Savior did come for to die
For poor on’ry people like you & like I,
I wonder as I wander out under the sky”

This is the time of year we come together to celebrate the birth of a baby boy. But more importantly, to…

Worship the newborn King, Jesus; Emmanuel, Son of Man, Prince of Peace, King of Kings, Lord of Lord, the Word of God, Redeemer, our Lord & personal Savior. John 3:17

“When Mary birthed Jesus t’was in a cow’s stall,
With wise men and farmers and shepherds & all
But high from God’s heaven, a star’s light did fall
And the promise of ages it then did recall.”

Focus on His personality; one who is playful with his disciples, intentional with His friends & followers, & generous to mankind – coming to earth to live a selfless, obedient life in order to teach the good news of the Kingdom in word & in deed, to then die a selfless, obedient death for each of us to have eternal life with Him. Phil. 2:5-8

“If Jesus had wanted for any wee thing
A star in the sky or a bird on the wing
Or all of God’s Angels in heaven to sing
He surely could have it, ‘cause he was the King.”

And to find Rest in Him, especially if you are suffering, hurting, sad, alone, or seeking love, acceptance or purpose. Know, that He offers His peace & comfort to everyone. Matt. 11:28-30

“I wonder as I wander out under the sky
How Jesus the Savior did come for to die
For poor on’ry people like you & like I,
I wonder as I wander out under the sky”

No matter where you are or what you are doing at this very moment, I hope you will take time to be still, wonder, wander, & be drawn closer to Him this holiday season.
