“There were Asians, Czechs, visiting Americans, and a musical choir soloists,…” Wait, that sounds like the beginning of a joke. And if you know me, I was and still am not one that tells jokes well. Thankfully, this was no joke. Last night we celebrated the birth of baby Jesus from many nations, personalities, and gifts sets, in a multi-cultural Christmas Eve service in Praha.
Coming together as broken, hurting, sinful, alone, lost, yet forgiven and loved Body of Christ from all over the world was one moment I’ll never forget. Especially worshiping in our own languages with united hearts, singing Silent Night (one of my dad’s favorite Christmas songs), to The Lord!
Thank you God for another touch of Heaven and allowing us to celebrate the Birth of Jesus.
