Saying good byes

The end of an era here in Slovakia has come to an end. It has been a bittersweet ending as I say and receive my good byes from those whom I’ve called friends and family over the last 10.5 years.
I’m overwhelmed by how much your contributions of your prayers and investments have impacted so many across Slovakia. Many have shared how the Lord used me through your support to build His Kingdom, disciple many men, and advance His Gospel through our ministries. So I return with many thanksgivings and praises to the Lord for your faithfulness and partnership!
As I prepare to return to the States this Wednesday, July 10, I would ask you to please pray for the following:
Those Left Behind – Please pray for those I am leaving behind. Pray for strength, wisdom and confidence for them to continue to advance His Kingdom through their lives and ministries.
Transition – It’s going to be really hard. I’m calling this the “year of tears” from mourning the loss of my dad and Savana, and having to say so many good byes here in Slovakia. I am returning to home grieving, and to a mother who is mourning as well. Please pray for strength and for Him to help and lead me through this transition/process.
Community – I’m asking the Lord to provide a healthy community of friends whom I can connect with to live “life-on-life” with each other as I transition back. Please join me in this prayer as I find a place that I can fit in, make some strong friendships, and be encouraged.
Calling – These next three months, I will seek the Lord in what and where He is calling me to for this next season of life/ministry. Please pray for wisdom and discernment.
I look forward to reconnecting with many of you as I continue to serve with Josiah Venture on the stateside recruiting, raising support and awareness of what God is doing in Slovakia .
